At Lavazza Group, we’re looking for a Data Platforms Senior Specialist to join our Tech & Digital – Data Platforms team and play a key role in driving Data Analytics initiatives across the organization.
In this role, you’ll lead the delivery of analytical solutions and support the evolution of data‑driven processes
, ensuring strong alignment between business needs, corporate data governance standards, and technology choices — with a strong focus on Microsoft Fabric

You’ll act as a strategic partner for business stakeholders
, coordinating requirements, guiding technical developments, managing suppliers, and contributing to budget definition and continuous process improvement.
- Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of Data Analytics initiatives
, from requirements gathering to go‑live. - Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
, ensuring clarity and feasibility. - Oversee solution design and development
, ensuring alignment with Microsoft Fabric best practices and architectural standards. - Guide and supervise external development partners across all implementation phases.
- Collaborate closely with Key Users to support adoption of analytics and reporting solutions.
- Provide third‑level support for analytics and reporting incidents.
- Monitor market and technology trends
, contributing to the continuous evolution of the analytical ecosystem. - Support budget definition and contract management for analytics initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric architecture and components
. - Good knowledge of Azure Data Factory or equivalent ETL/ELT tools.
- Familiarity with data modeling best practices (Power BI, Lakehouse, Fabric Data Warehouse).
- Ability to review, challenge, and validate technical documentation and architectural proposals.
- Basic proficiency in SQL and DAX
. - Basic understanding of Dev Ops concepts and release management.
- Awareness of data governance principles (data quality, lineage, access control).
- Support testing, validation, and UAT activities
. - Monitor release quality and compliance with methodologies and standards.
- Contribute to project oversight, ensuring alignment with timelines, scope, and objectives
. - Strong communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders
. - Collaborative mindset, working closely with Data Product Owners, Data Stewards, and Key Users
. - High attention to detail and strong critical thinking
. - Proactive attitude in identifying risks, issues, and improvement opportunities
. - Ability to translate technical complexity into business‑friendly language
.
