Compensation: $65–$90 per hour
Location: Fremont, CA, USA
Commitment: Full-time
Role Responsibilities- Develop and manage strategic vendor relationships, including performance metrics, scorecards, and business reviews
- Lead supplier sourcing processes (RFI/RFQ) and drive contract awards
- Design and execute negotiation strategies for complex contracts (MPA, MSA, SOW)
- Conduct market analysis and stay updated on data center, robotics, and automation trends
- Build and manage cost models and supplier performance benchmarks
- Resolve commercial and technical issues during sourcing and procurement processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and construction
- Define and track supply chain metrics, risks, and operational performance indicators
- Ensure supply continuity through demand forecasting, material planning, and supplier capacity management
- Support AI/robotics vendor requirements including performance metrics, telemetry, and data governance standards
- Strong years of experience in sourcing or supply chain management
- Strong years of experience in commercial sourcing roles
- Strong experience with contract negotiation and supplier management
- Experience with enterprise systems (SAP, Oracle) and data tools (SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Knowledge of cost modeling, supplier performance metrics, and supply chain optimization
- Experience in robotics, automation, or data center equipment supply chains
- Experience negotiating software licensing models (robotics/AI)
- Understanding of AI system requirements (performance metrics, validation, telemetry, data governance)
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics, Robotics, or related field
