SQL Server Database Administrator – Speedy Sales Solutions (m/f/d)

As a SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) with experience in ETL tools, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Azure, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing both on-premise and cloud databases, as well as supporting data integration processes and ensuring the quality and consistency of information flows.
Responsibilities- Administer, monitor, and maintain SQL Server databases, both on-premise and on Azure SQL
- Design and implement efficient ETL processes using SSIS and other tools
- Manage routine and extraordinary maintenance activities, backups, restores, and disaster recovery
- Promptly resolve issues related to databases and integration processes
- Collaborate with development teams, analysts, and stakeholders to define data requirements
- Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexes to improve performance
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with current regulations
- Proven experience in the management and administration of Microsoft SQL Server (latest versions)
- Excellent knowledge of ETL processes and strong skills in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Experience with SQL Azure and cloud-based database solutions
- Expertise in performance optimization, query tuning, and index management
- Knowledge of backup/restore procedures, high availability, replication, and disaster recovery
- Proficient in T-SQL and scripting for process automation
- Familiarity with key monitoring and diagnostic tools
- Experience in complex and integrated enterprise environments
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with developers, analysts, and project managers
- Good command of English and Italian
- Cooperation with a highly qualified and engaged team
- Involvement in international IT projects within the Würth Group
