Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking an AI Data Engineer to join their team. As an AI Data Engineer
, you will be part of the Data & Analytics Department supporting the Data Engineering and Data Science teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: AI Data Engineer
Location: Remote - 100% remote. Open to candidates across all time zones with a preference for PST support. Strong preference for candidates based near Redmond, WA who can work onsite at the Bear Creek A building approximately 3 days/week; these candidates will be prioritized.
Pay Range: $68.49 - $73.78 on Experis W2 (Benefits/PTO/401k)
Top 3 Must-Have HARD Skills & years of experience for each:- Python 4-5 years
- Data modeling 3 years
- Cloud experience 2 years (Azure preferred)
- Build and maintain scalable, automated data pipelines handling logs and event streaming data on cloud platforms.
- Design and develop robust data models and abstractions to support analytics and machine learning initiatives.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Develop enterprise-grade APIs and data products to facilitate data access and usability across teams.
- Advance infrastructure by creating reusable frameworks and leveraging modern data engineering practices.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, with relevant experience.
- Proven experience in building and optimizing enterprise-scale data pipelines using tools like Spark and Airflow.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation, automation, and analysis.
- Experience developing secure, high-performance APIs, preferably on cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to data challenges.
