As we continue to grow at a rapid pace, we need some amazing new professionals to join our team. ABSC is seeking a skilled UI/UX Front-End Development Engineer. You will develop high-quality web applications using a state-of-the-art technology stack in support of an emerging program. The ten-year DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) program is a next generation platform utilizing AI to provide cutting edge data enrichment, triage, and analytics capabilities to Defense and Intelligence Community partners.

While most tasks are conducted on-site at our client location in Bethesda, MD, we offer a flexible work schedule and occasional remote work. The percentage of remote work will vary based on client requirements/deliverables. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment and possess a solid understanding of the software development life cycle all while working within an Agile framework.

Security clearance required for this role:
An Active TS/SCI with ability/willingness to obtain a CI polygraph is required. Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain web applications using React

JS and Python.
* Coding, testing, and debugging new and/or existing web applications.
* Implementing and refining user interfaces.
* Conducting thorough unit testing via automated tooling.
* Collaborating with other team members (internal and external) to ensure optimal performance and usability.
* Peer reviewing code written by fellow team members.
* Utilizing virtualization technologies like Docker and Podman. Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline, plus 4 - 8 years relevant experience. (will consider years’ experience in lieu of degree)
* Experience with modern front-end libraries such as React

JS and/or Angular, with a minimum of 2 years professional experience.
* Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
* Solid understanding of HTTP web requests for fetching JSON data.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to write well-documented code.
* Must possess an Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a Poly. Desired

Skills:

* A genuine passion for creating great user experiences.
* Experience with writing frontend unit tests.
* Experience with writing backend web API services.
* Experience coding in other languages such as Python.
* Familiarity with No

SQL data stores such as Elasticsearch.
* Familiarity with performance optimization techniques.
* Up to date with emerging front-end technologies. Salary is commensurate with experience. Salary range for this requisition is: $125k-$220k annual.
