Responsibilities- Design, build, and manage scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure.
- Linux administration in a cloud environments.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or Cloud Formation.
- Automate system deployment, configuration, patching, and monitoring using Ansible, SSM, Azure Automation, etc.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments using Cloud Watch, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics.
- Manage identity and access controls, enforce security best practices, and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Support application teams with cloud infrastructure needs including networking, performance tuning, and CI/CD integration.
- Participate in on‑call rotation and incident response for critical cloud infrastructure issues.
- Experience in AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and managing automation solutions using Ansible.
- Linux administration in a cloud environments.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Power Shell, or Python.
- Working knowledge of cloud security (e.g., IAM, Defender for Cloud, Guard Duty).
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Cloud Watch, Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, Science
Logic1). - Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, subnets, firewalls, load balancers).
- AWS or AZURE Cloud Certifications (highly preferred).
- Experience with hybrid cloud or cloud migration projects.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools like Service Now.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Self‑starter with ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
- Master’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering or related technical discipline and 10+ years’ work experience.
- Ten (10) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (20 years total).
- The ability to pass a Tier 4/HIGH Background Investigation.
