Essential Functions- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud services on platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud. Azure and AWS experience preferred.
- Provide technical support for cloud-based systems, including incident response, problem resolution, and performance tuning.
- Monitor system reliability, performance, and availability through logs and telemetry, responding to issues as warranted.
- Define, implement, and enforce security standards and best practices to protect PHI.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications for cloud deployment and employ Dev Ops practices such as CI/CD.
- Participate in capacity planning and cost optimization efforts to maximize efficiency and reduce expenses.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in Cloud Computing, Platform Engineering, Dev Ops, & SRE.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Demonstrable experience with one or more configuration‑management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or DSC.
- Innate desire to automate routine tasks, functions, and processes using scripting languages such as bash, python, Power Shell.
- Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or Cloud Formation. Terraform experience preferred.
- Proficiency with containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is desired.
- General knowledge of and experience with networking concepts, including DNS, SSL, VPNs, proxies, load balancing, and firewalls.
- Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on root‑cause analysis.
- Time and priority management to ensure deliverables are completed within the given timeframe.
- Displays a growth mindset and diligent self‑reliance, asking smart questions and creative problem solving.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing principles, database concepts and operating systems (Linux and Windows).
This is a sedentary role which may sit or use a computer for long periods of time. Finger dexterity is needed for keyboarding. Extended periods of time reading/viewing computer screens.
RequiredEducation and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.
- Certification in cloud platforms such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud.
- Professional Cloud Architect is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of implementing scalable and resilient cloud solutions in production environments.
- Experience working in Agile or Dev Ops environments is a plus.

Salary Range$123,000 – $154,500 annually + bonus potential
