As our new Service Now
Architect
, you will play a key role in our delivery team, owning the overall platform design and translating client business needs into technical solutions. You will ensure the architecture, design, implementation, and integrity of the Service Now platform across the enterprise.

• Design end-to-end Service Now architectures across modules such as ITSM, ITOM & ITAM
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight across Service Now projects
• Design integration architectures (REST, SOAP, MID Server, Service Graph Connectors)
• Define and maintain platform architecture principles, standards, and guardrails
• Collaborate with client stakeholders (Platform Owners, Product Owners, Architects) to present designs and align solutions
• Support pre‑sales (ITSM/ITOM/ITAM), including scoping, sizing, documentation approval, and production release sign‑off
• Deliver Service Now demos to clients, showcasing platform capabilities and solutions
• Act as trusted advisor for customers and senior stakeholders

• Several years of proven experience working with Service Now platforms
• Proven experience as Service Now Architect or Lead Technical Consultant
• Strong knowledge of:
  Service Now platform capabilities; ITSM, CMDB & CSDM; ITO, M Discovery (on‑prem and cloud), ACC and Integrations; ITAM;
  Flow Designer, JavaScript, SQL, import sets and transform maps
• Deep understanding of CMDB governance/architecture, including Identification & Reconcilition Engine and its impact on data quality
• Experience with agile / SAFe / hybrid project delivery
• Service Now CSA and CIS-ITSM certificate, any other CIS like Discovery, SAM, HAM or a CTA would be a plus
• Solid communicator and collaborator with a proactive, can‑do attitude
• Ability to balance standardization vs. customer‑specific needs

If this position is filled in Austria, the salary for this role is at least EUR 4,485 gross per month for 38.5 hours per week, in accordance with the Austrian IT collective agreement. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, the actual salary may be significantly higher.
