Tria Federal (Tria) is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team. This role is for the Veterans Affairs Electronic Health Record Modernization project within the Military Health and Veterans Affairs business unit Technical Project Manager will support interface implementation, deployment, and post‑deployment support, requiring a strong technical background, excellent client and project management skills, proven ability to perform hands‑on technical work when needed, and the ability to lead projects and geographically disparate teams.

Candidates must be available to work on site in the Arlington, VA office 1‑2 days per week. This is a hybrid role.
Basic Requirements- Experience leading IT design, development, test, deployment, and sustainment
- Excellent communication skills
- 7 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- Good understanding of Agile practices, processes, and ceremonies
- Experience using JIRA
- PMP Certification is a plus
- Work independently and lead mid‑ to large technical teams with FTC customers from the beginning of the software development lifecycle through deployment and sustainment.
- Oversee and support the localization of systems to multiple sites at the VA.
- Manage 1‑5 moderately to highly complex systems concurrently.
- Evaluate technical solutions with the technical team, manage day‑to‑day activities, and report to the customer on a daily basis through several touchpoints.
- Brief executive‑level leadership on all aspects of the design, development, test, IA posture, and other technical matters.
- Work closely with customers and business teams to identify business requirements, propose technically feasible solutions, and set accurate expectations for integration effort and timelines.
- Act as the single point of contact for the customer for all technical issues and project deliverables.
- Submit change management documentation (Change Requests) for new work and provide accurate level‑of‑effort estimates.
- Create and manage detailed project plans for customer integrations, including timelines and effort estimates.
- Work closely with interface engineers, interface architects, engineering, product development, and Technical Support to resolve issues that arise during the software development lifecycle.
- Track and document status and time spent on customer integrations.
- Participate in internal projects that help scale the group, implement best practices, and improve our methodology and quality of integrations.
- Review the quality of customer integrations.
- Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor and maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Work LocationTria Federal operates primarily in the Eastern Time Zone, with standard work hours from 9 AM – 5 PM ET and flexibility around start and end times based on team needs. Offices are available in Arlington, VA and Baltimore, MD for those who prefer to work on site. Work location requirements vary by program; while many roles support remote work, some projects may require partial or full on‑site presence based on contract and client needs.
