ERP Specialist

Overview

This role will support SAP B1 and related systems for HYTORC to ensure that the software is operational and functional. The core responsibilities will include end user support, documentation, training and other related system tasks. This position will report directly to the SAP Systems Manager.

• Providing primary support, training and written instructions for our user base including How-To Documentation and/or videos.
• Onboarding new users across multiple applications and providing one-on-one introductions to HYTORC’s business systems.
• Learning table structures and relationships of all database products integral to the operation of B1.
• Documenting and analyzing business processes and procedures as they relate to B1.
• Developing and maintaining knowledge of HYTORC’s business processes.
• Providing implementation and support services during installations, upgrades and customizations.
• Maintain and validate data/reports through mechanisms available within B1 SSRS, Excel Report Builder, and Crystal Reports.
• Participate and contribute to various special projects and assignments.

• This position will not supervise other employees at this time. The individual should be personable and team-oriented.

• 3+ years experience with SAP B1 or equivalent ERP
• Preferably experience with a WMS software solution (e.g., Dematic, Accellos)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business (Accounting) and/or Information Systems
• Experience with SQL Server queries is a plus. Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts (relational and dimensional)
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve success within a consulting environment

Primarily sedentary role requiring extended periods of sitting, frequent use of computers, and regular communication. Must possess strong analytical, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

• Working in a high-energy office environment with several ongoing projects.

Occasional visits to warehouse areas and remote offices are necessary to provide support to all users within the company. There is a reasonable level of travel expectation of at least 20% of the time.
