We are seeking a Technical Director to join our Solutioning team. As a technical expert who bridges the gap between client needs and Baires Dev’s solutions, you will play a critical role in the sales process by engaging with leads and prospects, designing tailored technical solutions, and collaborating with sales and delivery teams to secure new business opportunities.

This role combines presales expertise, delivery knowledge, and consulting skills, requiring technical depth and strong communication abilities. You will define project scope, assemble cross‑functional delivery teams, and respond to complex RFPs and RFIs while ensuring each solution is viable, competitive, and aligned with client objectives.

• Meet with leads and prospects alongside the sales team to understand and translate their requirements into digestible documents and articulate the value proposition of our delivery model.
• Travel to meet leads and attend events, serving as the technical expert in conversations and showcasing our capabilities.
• Engage in technical conversations about software development and delivery at the solution level, asking questions to determine optimal solutions and team composition.
• Work closely with presales to generate decks and proposals (teams, projects, roles, RFQs, etc.), estimating and recommending approaches focused on team composition and sizing.
• Provide consulting for best practices in software delivery with expertise in Data and Analytics, Quality, Cloud, Engineering, or AI.

• 8+ years of experience building software within the SDLC with teams.
• 5+ years in solutioning, sales, presales, or solution architect roles, preferably at Manager or Director level.
• 5+ years in a specific area of the SDLC (language, framework, or technology) building and implementing technology solutions.
• Experience leading software developer or engineering teams delivering solutions (Cloud, Data, Dev Ops, or Testing).
• Subject‑matter expert knowledge in 1–2 verticals with deep domain experience in at least one (desirable).
• Experience with Cloud, Dev Ops, or Infrastructure.
• Ability to travel +40% within the US.
• Must be located in the United States.
