Overview
We are seeking an SAP Data & Analytics MDG Analyst to support a large‑scale ERP modernization initiative within a highly regulated federal environment. This role focuses on supporting Master Data Governance (MDG) processes, data quality, and reporting activities within an SAP S/4
HANA landscape.
The analyst will assist with data management, workflow support, and analytics efforts to help ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of enterprise master data.
This is a 75% remote position with approximately 25% quarterly travel to the Washington, DC metro area
.

- Support the configuration and maintenance of SAP MDG processes and data models across key domains (e.g., Finance, Business Partner, Materials)
- Assist with data validation, cleansing, and governance activities to ensure data quality and consistency
- Support change request workflows, including basic configuration and monitoring of approvals
- Assist with data integration and replication activities, including monitoring interfaces and resolving data issues
- Perform data analysis and reporting, leveraging SAP tools to identify trends, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities
- Support data quality monitoring efforts, including dashboards and remediation activities
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure master data supports business processes and reporting needs
- Troubleshoot basic MDG‑related issues, escalating more complex problems as needed
- Maintain documentation related to data processes, workflows, and governance standards
- U.S. Citizenship required with an Active Secret Clearance or higher
- 2–5 years of experience with SAP, data management, or ERP systems
- Exposure to SAP MDG, data governance, or master data processes preferred
- Familiarity with data analysis, reporting, or analytics tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud or similar)
- Basic understanding of SAP S/4
HANA and enterprise data structures (e.g., Business Partner, Financial data) - Ability to analyze and reconcile data issues with attention to detail
- Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Experience with data integration or ETL concepts is a plus
- Experience in a federal or highly regulated environment preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- W2 Hourly rate starts at $57.01, pay rates based on experience and qualifications, subject to change at any time.
