JOB SUMMARY
Corvus Consulting, LLC is seeking a Program Manager (PM) to support OUSD(R&E) Future
G initiatives focused on integrating advanced commercial 5G and 6G wireless technologies into secure military operational environments. This hybrid remote position will support technical planning, integration analysis, operational coordination, cybersecurity assessments, and transition activities related to 5G/6G military network integration, tactical communications modernization, Non‑Terrestrial Networks (NTN), secure wireless architectures, electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO), and future tactical edge networking capabilities.
The ideal candidate will work closely with government stakeholders, industry partners, research organizations, and multidisciplinary technical teams to help advance Future
G capabilities from research and development into operational transition. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting‑edge defense modernization efforts focused on next‑generation communications technologies that directly support national security and mission readiness objectives.
- Support execution of Future
G integration initiatives involving 5G and emerging 6G technologies - Coordinate technical assessments and integration planning activities
- Analyze military applicability of commercial wireless technologies
- Support development of technology roadmaps and operational integration strategies
- Assist in identifying transition candidates and operational use cases
- Support analysis of military network integration architectures and interoperability requirements
- Assess cybersecurity implications of 5G/6G deployment in defense environments
- Coordinate technical evaluations involving tactical networks, spectrum operations, and secure communications
- Support development of secure and resilient network implementation strategies
- Support preparation of acquisition planning documentation and technical requirements
- Assist with industry engagement activities including RFIs, workshops, and technical exchanges
- Coordinate with acquisition support organizations and government laboratories
- Support development of solicitation documentation and technical evaluation criteria
- Prepare technical reports, briefings, recommendations, and status updates
- Support meetings and coordination with OSD, Joint Staff, Services, and external stakeholders
- Maintain program schedules, action tracking, and milestone reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related technical field
- Minimum 5‑10 years supporting DoD communications, networking, cybersecurity, or technology integration programs
- Experience with 5G, wireless communications, military networking, or cyber operations
- Familiarity with DoD modernization initiatives and operational requirements
- Experience supporting technical program management activities
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Active Secret clearance required
- Experience with 5G/6G integration, Open RAN, or tactical wireless communications
- Knowledge of Non‑Terrestrial Networks (NTN) and advanced spectrum technologies
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition or RDT&E environments
- Experience supporting Future
G, Army, Navy, Air Force, or Joint modernization programs - Security+, CISSP, PMP, or related certifications preferred
- Experience supporting cybersecurity assessments for operational networks
