Job Summary
Senior Automation Engineer. Lead design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse). Work closely with cross‑functional teams to identify automation opportunities and deploy scalable, governed solutions.
Contract position, W2 only, no C2C.
Responsibilities- Lead the end‑to‑end design, development, and deployment of low‑code solutions on the Power Platform and associated tools.
- Analyze business workflows, provide automation recommendations, and create implementation plans.
- Govern citizen development by training business users, implementing governance frameworks, and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards, security requirements, and regulatory mandates.
- Maintain and improve automation lifecycle management, including CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
- Act as a technical lead in Agile sprint cycles and oversee functional versus technical development balance.
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and ensure solution quality.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in automation engineering.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, including the Center of Excellence.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and JSON.
- Experience with process modeling tools (Visio, BPMN).
- Solid understanding of APIs, databases, system integrations, CI/CD pipelines and Git.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with non‑technical business stakeholders.
- Experience with agile methodologies and hybrid on‑site/remote work schedules.
- Self‑sufficient, proactive, and able to manage end‑to‑end delivery.
Contract position. Worksite:
Carmel, Indiana (4 days onsite, 1 day remote). Hybrid workplace.
Hourly rate: $40.00 – $70.00.
