The Account Technology Manager (ATM) develops and executes the strategy to achieve business targets and strategic objectives for the Siemens EDA 3
DIC business within the territory. Recognized as a go‑to technical leader, the ATM leads opportunities with engineering teams designing advanced IC packages and heterogeneous systems. The ATM drives priorities across the Advanced Packaging portfolio, clarifies where to focus field resources, and maintains accurate engagement data.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop overall advanced packaging engagement strategy with field technical management aligned to sales and BU priorities, building top‑down and bottom‑up plans account‑by‑account and capturing unidentified whitespace opportunities.
- Define technical account engagement plans and campaigns; strategies and plans must be approved by the Account Manager.
- Lead and manage sales campaigns for Innovator3D IC and Calibre3D product lines.
- Ensure understanding of all elements of each technical campaign – decision process, success criteria, committed usage, run‑rate impact, AE resources required, and customer problem solving.
- Establish regular customer meetings with key stakeholders and management to support successful campaigns.
- Align with the account team on opportunities and maintain an engagement tracking mechanism for clear reporting of progress vs. plan across multiple accounts.
- Define, track, and report priorities across all engagements; partner closely with technical management to balance near‑term execution with longer‑term strategic objectives.
- Build strong customer relationships to establish strategic relationships for Siemens EDA in product and technology.
- Serve as key field resource summarizing competitive threats and opportunities.
- Collect and communicate customer feedback, competitive information, and field intelligence to product BUs to align product direction and roadmaps with customer needs within the territory.
Qualifications:
- BSEE Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related technology field or technical sales role.
- Financial understanding to enable selling at a business level.
- Product, market, and industry expertise in advanced packaging technology.
- Negotiating and prospecting/uncovering skills.
- Ability to create and maintain technical campaigns, set appropriate expectations, and drive closure of technical campaigns.
- Strong communication skills and professional customer presence.
- Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization across account management, the field technical organization, and the business unit R&D and Marketing teams.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on verifying U.S. Person status or obtaining necessary export license.
