  • Manage and harden self‑hosted Git Lab infrastructure using IaC, ensuring high availability and robust disaster recovery.
  • Harden foundational components against threats and integrate "Compliance‑as‑Code" to support Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.
  • Engage in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Merge Requests (MRs), code reviews, and automated infrastructure testing.
Requirements
  • Eligible to obtain or hold an active U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Must have an active CAC at a minimum.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Deep, hands‑on experience specifically within Google Cloud Platform.

  • Ability to manage complex infrastructure solely through CLI and Terraform (no console access).
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system architecture to predict and prevent system failures.
  • Beyond basic scripting, you must be comfortable in a high‑level language like Python or Go.
Desired Qualifications
  • Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, or Hashi Corp Certified:
    Terraform Associate.
  • Security+ Certification.
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar.
  • Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and container hardening.
  • Familiarity with the DoD RMF framework or building systems within an ATO (Authority to Operate) boundary.
  • Ability to handle high‑privilege access (Owner/Editor) while establishing administrative guardrails for the broader team.
