Position: Business Analyst I, Business Technology

About the Role

This role provides support to business technology managers, business partners, project analysts, resources, and external resources to understand and achieve business objectives. It may also participate in meetings with stakeholders, documenting needs and business processes, and uncovering opportunities for continuous improvement. Key skills include attention to detail, organization, facilitation, communication, business process improvement, and self‑initiative.

Minimum Requirements
  • Education:

    Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Business required; or relevant experience.
  • Experience:

    1–3 years of related experience.
  • Travel:
    Up to 10%.
  • Work Schedule:

    Works between 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday–Friday. Flexible schedule required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with BT Business Partners, Project Analysts, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients.
  • Aid in developing business cases/justifications by researching and collecting data.
  • Use standard templates and methods to collect, analyze, develop, and document business requirements.
  • Assist project managers in managing scope, maintaining visibility to status, and mitigating risks or issues.
  • Help alleviate blockers within projects.
  • Back up the project manager by leading project meetings and portfolio reporting status of assigned projects when necessary.
  • Facilitate gathering of information required to determine level of effort for estimating cost, scope, timeline, process, and resources.
  • Create as‑is and future state documentation.
  • Perform troubleshooting to understand problems and create recommendations for resolution.
  • Ensure that project, technical and business requirements are identified and achieved throughout execution.
  • Maid in resolving conflicts in priorities, tasks, dependencies for the project team.
  • Identify other potential project predecessors or impacts and options to mitigate risk or complexity.
  • Support development of test cases to ensure requirements are met.
  • Support testing before user acceptance activities.
  • Liaise with technical team members on issues identified during user acceptance testing.
  • Manage issue resolution and perform other related duties as required.
Work Location

This role follows a hybrid work model. Team members are required to spend part of their week onsite at our Menasha, WI office while also having the flexibility for remote work.
