Job Summary
The Service Desk Technician is responsible for providing quality and timely technical support to bank staff. This position also assists the broader IT team with daily systems checks, ticket and patch management, on‑call support, inventory tracking, and systems imaging.
Responsibilities- Execute across all operational activities of the IT department
- Support the strategic direction and the design of all technology, infrastructure, software, and communications and networking systems, including the implementation and integration of external and internal business processing systems and applications
- Administer Microsoft systems, including cloud‑based systems, Active Directory, Office
365, Azure, and Mobile MDM - Provide help desk support including ticket management
- Primary resource for desktop and application software support
- Lead technicians for daily system checklists
- Administer and maintain system imaging
- Provide on‑call support
- Manage new hire and departure process
- Track inventory (desktop related)
- Support audio/video conferencing
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma required;
Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology field preferred - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Help Desk/Customer Service role required
- Networking certifications such as A+, MCP, Network+ preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Outstanding problem‑solving and time‑management skills
- Self‑motivated, self‑directed, and results‑oriented
- Adaptable and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Can work independently and within a team; solution‑oriented with a collaborative approach
$70,000 (entry level) to $78,000 (highly experienced).
Position RequirementsWork is primarily conducted in an office setting while certain positions may allow for remote work through the use of technology at management discretion.
Physical Demands:
- Remain in a stationary position
- Use hands and fingers
- Utilize a computer monitor with visual acuity
- Operate technology or other office machinery such as printers, scanners, etc.
- Communicate clearly verbally and/or in writing with others
