Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Duck Creek Manuscript Developer to support and lead the enhancement, modernization, and stabilization of Duck Creek Policy manuscripts for Commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance implementations.
This role requires deep expertise in Duck Creek Policy, DCT, DCOD, manuscript development, and migration programs
, along with strong coordination skills to collaborate effectively with client stakeholders, business teams, and offshore delivery teams.
The ideal candidate will act as a key technical liaison between onsite stakeholders and offshore development teams, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and compliant solutions are delivered across modernization initiatives.
Experience with
AD (Advanced Development/Authoring) capabilities is highly preferred.
Duck Creek Manuscript Development
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Duck Creek Policy manuscripts to support business, underwriting, and regulatory requirements
- Implement and review updates related to:
- Policy transactions

- Provide technical leadership and code review support to offshore manuscript development teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve manuscript defects, configuration issues, and production incidents
- Act as the onshore technical SME for Duck Creek Policy DCT/DCOD implementations and modernization programs
- Lead and support:
- DCOD migration activities
- Manuscript refactoring
- Functional validation
- Post-migration stabilization
- Collaborate with architects, technical leads, and client stakeholders to transition legacy on-premise implementations to modern DCOD architecture
- Drive issue resolution for migration-related defects, platform upgrade issues, and system integration challenges
- Support regression validation and production readiness activities during migration cycles
- Contribute to complex manuscript logic and advanced authoring patterns
- Develop scalable custom policy rule extensions and reusable configurations
- Guide teams on best practices for utilizing Duck Creek Authoring and AD capabilities
- Work closely with integration and QA teams to validate end-to-end policy functionality and business workflows
- Serve as the primary onshore technical point of contact for manuscript-related activities

- Ensure offshore deliverables meet quality standards, compliance requirements, and project timelines

- 7–11 years of overall IT experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on Duck Creek Policy development experience
- Strong expertise in Duck Creek Manuscript development and maintenance
- Proven experience supporting DCOD migration and modernization programs in an onshore/client‑facing role
- Experience in Commercial or Personal Lines P&C Insurance environments preferred
- Prior experience working within distributed onsite‑offshore delivery models
