Overview

In this role you will design, develop, enhance, and maintain Service Now‑based dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using the Service Now Analytics module to transform operational and business data into actionable insights.

This is a remote position. Candidates must live within a 70‑mile radius of our office locations in Allen, TX;
Lenexa, KS;
Springfield, MO;
Monett, MO;
Cedar Falls, IA;
Louisville, KY;
Birmingham, AL; or Charlotte, NC. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. All positions may require an on‑site interview or in‑person onboarding to verify identity.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Service Now dashboards, reports, and analytics products using the Service Now Analytics module (Performance Analytics and Reporting).
  • Translate complex business and technical requirements into Service Now‑native analytics solutions and documented technical designs.
  • Configure and test Service Now reports, Performance Analytics indicators, breakdowns, widgets, and dashboards for operational, management, and executive audiences.
  • Support new and existing Service Now analytics assets throughout their lifecycle, from initial delivery to enhancement, optimization, and retirement.
  • Design and maintain Service Now analytic data models, including indicators and historical trending, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance.
  • Apply data governance, validation, and quality assurance practices to minimize data quality risks and proactively identify data integrity issues.
  • Collaborate closely with Service Now developers, platform architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to align analytics solutions with business objectives.
  • Coordinate analytics development activities with other platform teams and departments to deliver integrated Service Now reporting solutions.
  • Provide guidance and best practices on Service Now reporting, dashboarding, and analytics capabilities to technical and non‑technical users.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, or analytics.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience with Service Now reporting or analytics.
Nice to Have
  • Business intelligence experience focused on Service Now analytics, reporting, and platform‑based data visualization.
  • Experience reporting on ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or other Service Now modules using Performance Analytics and dashboards.
  • Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated environments.
  • Service Now certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Performance Analytics, or Application Developer.
  • Ability to evaluate complex reporting scenarios, identify root causes, and apply advanced analytical and problem‑solving techniques within the Service Now platform.
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into Service Now‑native dashboards, reports, indicators, and analytics solutions.
  • Extensive experience with Service Now data sources, tables, filters, indicators, breakdowns, scheduled data collection, and historical trending.
  • Working knowledge of Service Now data modeling concepts, including relationships between core tables (e.g., task, incident, change, CMDB) and analytics use cases.
  • Experience with data quality validation, testing, documentation, and lifecycle management of Service Now reports and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with Service Now scripting concepts (JavaScript, Glide APIs) as they relate to reporting, indicators, and data preparation.
  • Strong awareness of data security, role‑based access controls, and the ethical handling of data within the Service Now platform.
  • Strong research, project planning, and implementation skills.
  • Advanced organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
