As Director of Corporate IT, you will lead a lean, high-impact team dedicated to reinventing the future of knowledge work at Everlaw—transforming our corporate technology environment into a seamless, intelligent ecosystem that empowers Everlawyers to do their best work to achieve our mission:
- Strengthen and scale global infrastructure across office and remote environments.
- Treat the internal tech stack as a Product, prioritizing frictionless user journeys and high reliability.
- Drive operational excellence through automation, Zero-Touch provisioning, and responsible AI adoption.
This is a “player-coach” position. You are equally comfortable defining multi-year roadmaps as you are rolling up your sleeves to conduct root-cause analysis, engineer out manual toil, and automate recurring friction points.

This is a full-time, exempt position based in our Oakland office with a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home on Tu/Fr.
Getting started- We want you to feel like part of the team early on! Our onboarding process will integrate you into the company with informative sessions on our product, policies, processes, and team structure and goals.

IT Strategy & Leadership
- Define the corporate IT roadmap aligned with business, security, and compliance objectives.
- Manage the IT operating budget and enterprise SaaS portfolio (Google Workspace, Zoom, Atlassian, Glean, etc.), balancing cost-efficiency with long-term maintainability.
- Partner with the VP of IT & Security on organizational design and long-term tech stack investments.
Modern Infrastructure & Endpoints
- Zero-Touch Endpoints: Drive automated lifecycle management and enforce security-hardened configuration baselines for macOS, Windows, and Ubuntu via modern MDM (Jamf, Jump Cloud) and identity-driven workflows.
- Hybrid Collaboration: Orchestrate reliable experiences across office and remote network infrastructure, including Meraki-based LAN/WAN and high-fidelity conferencing systems (Zoom, Google Meet, AV).
- Physical Infrastructure: Partner with Facilities to lead technical design and execution for office expansions, encompassing low-voltage cabling, MDF/IDF architecture, and wireless design.
Enterprise SaaS & Collaboration Tools
- SaaS Visibility & Lifecycle: Develop a ‘Single Pane of Glass’ for automated asset tracking and SaaS visibility, managing the full lifecycle from procurement and license reconciliation through end-of-life.
- Portfolio Ownership: Optimize the corporate enterprise stack (Google Workspace, Atlassian, Glean, etc.) by leading vendor relationships, renewals, and rigorous tool evaluations that balance security, cost, and maintainability.
- Enablement & Adoption: Drive high-velocity adoption of core tools through automated workflows, clear documentation, and proactive training, ensuring IT remains a partner in productivity.
Identity, Access & Security Controls
