In this remote-first role, you’ll be a Senior Software Engineer, playing a pivotal role in the development of Eigen Layer.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Be a technical expert, guiding the team with your deep knowledge and experience in blockchain technology
• Collaborate with leadership to define future-proof strategies and product roadmaps
• Build code to generate proofs for Ethereum beacon chain events
• Design user-friendly APIs for web applications
• Implement innovative solutions like zero-knowledge proofs to optimize costs and user experience
• Stay updated on Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs) impacting native restaking
• Evaluate and integrate vendor solutions, ensuring data quality and system uptime

Are you a perfect fit?

• You have a BS in Computer Science or a related technical field
• You have 5+ years of experience in backend distributed systems
• You have 2+ years of experience building production-ready applications with Go
• You have experience with AWS cloud technologies
• You have a deep understanding of the Ethereum protocol, staking, and the beacon chain
• You have a proven track record of leading backend development projects, including web components and API design
• You have experience working on highly scalable and rapidly evolving software systems

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with Ethereum consensus clients or other blockchain protocols
• A strong understanding of smart contracts
• Knowledge of native restaking and/or liquid staking
