Office-First Business Systems Analyst: Optimize Processes

This position is considered office-first. An office-first employee can flex between in-office work and working from home based on personal or professional need, at the discretion of their supervisor. An office-first employee maintains an office presence at least three days per week at their designated Scooter’s Coffee office location. Scooter’s Coffee is headquartered in Omaha, NE. The successful candidate lives in Omaha, NE.

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Business Systems Analyst to support the design, optimization, and maintenance of enterprise systems across our organization. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions, combining analytical insight with system administration expertise to drive process improvements and ensure system reliability. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead requirements gathering efforts, and support system implementations and enhancements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
  Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and clarify business and technical requirements.
• Process Mapping & Improvement:
  Analyze current workflows and recommend system or process enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability.
• System Design Support:
  Translate business needs into functional specifications and partner with vendors and IT teams to implement solutions.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  Serve as a liaison between business units, IT, and external vendors to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
  Conduct data validation, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
• Solution Evaluation:
  Assess potential solutions ensuring they meet business goals and technical feasibility.
• Testing & Quality Assurance:
  Develop test plans, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validate system functionality.
• Documentation:
  Maintain comprehensive documentation including requirements documentation, SOPs, workflows, and user guides.
• Change Management Support:
  Assist in training, communication, and adoption efforts for new systems or processes.
• System Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
  Support ongoing system configuration, enhancements, and issue resolution in collaboration with vendors and IT teams.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of experience in business systems analysis, system administration, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems (e.g., financial, distribution, or CRM platforms).
• Experience with learning management systems, financial systems and supply chain systems is a plus
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
