Rate of Pay:
The salary range for this position in Plano, TX is $109,800 - $197,700year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties:
Utilize advanced expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI, and finance to develop impactful solutions for financial and industrial domains. Collaborate with senior business and engineering leaders, identify, validate, and implement AI-driven initiatives that accelerate digital transformation and provide measurable business value for customers worldwide. Collaborate with finance, risk, compliance, and industry solution teams to identify and prioritize AI initiatives that drive digital transformation across the company and its global customers.

Translate complex business, compliance, and operational challenges into actionable AI/LLM research projects and prototypes, leveraging the company's Xcelerator portfolio as appropriate. Architect, develop, and deliver scalable AI/ML solutions. Lead fine-tuning and domain adaptation of foundational models (e.g., GPT, Gemini, Llama) for finance and industrial applications. Partner with engineering, product, and executive teams to develop AI strategy and establish robust go-to-market plans for innovative LLM- powered offerings.

Continuously monitor AI/LLM research trends and emerging technologies, ensuring company sustains industry leadership. Mentor, manage, and upskill data science colleagues, facilitate knowledge sharing, and foster a culture of innovation. Telecommuting from a commutable distance is acceptable per company policy. Requirements:
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence or related field and 48 months of experience in the job offered or in a Data Scientist-related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

1. Machine learning or data science.

2. 2 years' experience with large Language Models, Natural Language Processing, Transformer Architectures, and Generative AI within the finance industry.

3. Delivering AI/ML solutions to large-scale business and finance challenges in enterprise, finance, or industrial settings.

4. Technology project management experience.

5. Using Python, SQL, and leading ML frameworks such as PyTorch, Hugging Face, and Lang Chain, as well as experience with Azure, AWS, or Snowflake.

6. Using MLOps, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
