INRIX is seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer to build and operate core company systems, ensuring security, reliability, and productivity. This role bridges infrastructure, identity, and engineering tooling, with exposure to both cloud and on‑premise environments. The Engineer will collaborate with Engineering and IT to deliver scalable, automated solutions and take ownership of critical systems supporting daily business operations. It is a hands‑on position for a self‑directed individual motivated by continuous system improvement.

This high‑impact role offers broad scope across core systems. The Engineer will own significant infrastructure areas, work directly with engineering teams, and play a vital part in enhancing INRIX’s operational scalability. The environment is fast‑paced, emphasizing action, automation, and continuous improvement. Opportunities exist to expand responsibilities into infrastructure, security, and systems design, leading larger initiatives and growing into broader technical ownership.
This is a hybrid position based in our Bellevue, WA office, requiring four days in the office with the option to work from home on Fridays.
What You’ll DoIdentity & Access Management- Own and operate Entra , including lifecycle automation, SSO, Conditional Access, and PIM.
- Enhance identity governance through automation, policy refinement, and access reviews.
- Support cloud IAM controls (e.g., AWS roles and policies).
- Manage the security configuration and ongoing posture of the Microsoft 365 environment.
- Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve security controls.
- Collaborate across teams to foster a secure‑by‑default environment.
- Ensure systems are secure, resilient, and scalable across cloud and on‑premise environments.
- Support core networking services (DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing/switching, firewalls, segmentation).
- Troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, and reduce operational overhead.
- Maintain private cloud infrastructure, including Hyper‑V and Failover Clustering.
- Automate manual processes using Power Shell and APIs.
- Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools.
- Improve CI/CD workflows (e.g., Git Hub Actions) with a focus on reliability and least‑privilege access.
- Identify and execute opportunities to simplify and scale systems through automation.
- Support and secure engineering platforms such as Git Hub, JFrog, and Copilot.
- Manage access and integrate identity controls across tooling.
- Help maintain governance across repositories, Actions runners, secrets, and policies.
- 5 years of hands‑on experience in systems, infrastructure, or cloud engineering.
- Experience with identity platforms, access management, and security best practices.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Power Shell, APIs, Terraform or similar).
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and infrastructure operations.
- Experience supporting developer tooling and CI/CD environments.
- Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and execute tasks.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $150,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. INRIX reserves the right to modify the pay range at any time.
