Senior Appian Developer- Remote

Job Overview

ICF’s Digital Modernization division is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial technology department that offers integrated, strategic solutions to public and private‑sector clients. We are seeking Senior Appian Developers to support upcoming needs with our federal customers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Math, Management Information Systems, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in all phases of software development for large‑scale, business‑critical applications following Agile methodologies
• 3+ years of recent hands‑on experience with Appian
• 2+ years of experience as a developer in designing, configuring, and debugging forms, reports, business logic, interface components and system integrations
• 1+ year of experience with relational databases, DML and DDL SQL scripting
• US citizenship or Green Card (required by the federal government for this position)
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance
• MUST RESIDE IN THE UNITED STATES and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States, as this work is for a federal contract and applicable laws must be followed

• Active Appian Certification
• Java developer experience is a strong plus
• Experience working with Appian Sites
• Recent work experience on a software development project in a federal government setting
• Experience with Agile framework
• Experience defining and documenting architecture for technology implementations leveraging different architectural views
• Exposure to common industry platforms and programming languages – Appian, IBM Web Sphere, Mule, LAMP/JBOSS, HADOOP, Java, Microsoft/.Net (preferred)
• Experience configuring stored procedures
• Ability to understand the long‑term “big picture” and short‑term perspectives of situations
• Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements
• Excellent analytical and technical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation

The pay range for this full‑time position is $98,614.00 – $. Multiple factors are considered, including experience, skills, certifications, geographic location, and contract provisions.
