Chenega Agile Real‑Time Solutions (CARS) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage mission‑critical Web and Mobile Application Development projects for the DoD DHA Web & Mobile Technology (W&MT) PMO.
Responsibilities- Oversee multiple critical projects in Web and Mobile Application Development for the DoD DHA Web & Mobile Technology (W&MT) PMO.
- Lead and motivate teams to foster collaboration, ownership, and accountability.
- Coordinate communication among site owners, W&MT clients, and diverse Project Teams.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including executives, project sponsors, and team members.
- Apply deep knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Demonstrate change management skills, effectively navigating organizational change.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with change, ensuring engagement and communication throughout the process.
- Plan and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Exhibit technical management and supervisory experience.
- Provide effective supervision and guidance to team members.
- Implement Agile (Scrum and Kanban) methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), covering Site Architecture, Usability, Development, Design, Accessibility, and Compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- SAFe Agilist, Certified Scrum Master, or Certified Scrum Product Owner certification (preferred).
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence (preferred).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
- ITIL 4 Certification (preferred).
- Background check with the ability to obtain a Public Trust.
- Deep understanding of Agile project management methodologies and best practices.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting.
- Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time‑related constraints in a fast‑paced contracting environment.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals.
- Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting, as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
- Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.
- Good problem‑solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it.
