Workday Analyst – Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking (PATT) – Senior / Lead Level (REMOTE) Overview
We are seeking an experienced Workday Analyst with deep PATT expertise to lead enterprise-level solutions.
Role SummaryThe Workday Functional Analyst (PATT) is responsible for the configuration, optimisation, and ongoing support of Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules. This role partners closely with COEs, Payroll, and HR stakeholders to ensure that Workday functionality is configured to meet business requirements, compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements, and optimised for efficiency, data integrity, and user experience within a strong governance framework where HRIS owns platform integrity and configuration and COEs own functional processes and data quality.
Key Responsibilities- Lead design and configuration of PATT modules
- Act as functional lead and decision-maker
- Translate functional requirements into scalable, standardised Workday solution
- Provide feasibility assessments based on system capabilities and constraints
- Ensure compliance with payroll and labour regulations
- Mentor junior analysts
- Deep PATT experience, ideally global or multi‑country
- Enterprise-level Workday experience (10K+ employees)
- Strong payroll and time‑tracking knowledge
- Ability to lead solution decisions
- Capability to act as the ‘CEO’ of the PATT functional area to foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders
