Remote ServiceNow Developer

Job Description

An employer is looking for a remote Service Now Developer. Collaborate in an Agile/ITIL environment to design, build, and support JavaScript‑based solutions, with a strong focus on Service Now development. Partner with product owners and stakeholders to refine stories, document technical designs, and track code changes through delivery. Build and enhance scoped applications, workflows, and integrations using Service Now best practices, while solving complex problems independently and communicating progress clearly across technical and non‑technical teams.

• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Java script, including server-side and client-side scripting
• Experience working in ITIL/Agile environment
• Experience with technical documentation, story refinement, and tracking coded changes
• Strong Problem‑Solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities in an Agile development and able to operate independently 3+ years Service Now experience
• Service Now certification:
  Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer
• Proficiency in Service Now Glide API’s and infrastructure
• Experience building scoped applications, creating design documents for data models and process flows, service portals, and general user experience
• Experience building custom workflows in Flow Designer for approvals and business process automation
• Strong grasp of Service Now’s ITSM, SPM, and CMDB processes
