This role involves migrating databases from Oracle R12 DHW (on-premise/cloud) to Aurora Postgre
SQL, utilizing tools such as Ora2PG, AWS SCT, and AWS DMS. The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience in data migration and data modeling in PostgreSQL
- Proficiency in writing database queries, procedures, and functions
- Strong analytical and debugging skills with SQL and PL/SQL
- Knowledge of data quality, security, and governance
- Expertise in Postgre
SQL database performance analysis and SQL/pgSQL performance tuning - Experience developing automation and using open-source tools
Responsibilities include:
- End-to-end data migration and modeling in PostgreSQL
- Ensuring the quality and validity of migrated data and processes
- Assessing source data, designing, and building migration solutions
This is a 100% remote, full-time position at the mid-senior level, in the IT Services and IT Consulting industry.
