The Tech System
- Clean, validate, and structure healthcare datasets from electronic health records (EHR), claims, and operational systems
- Perform descriptive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies under the guidance of senior analysts
- Assist in the development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Write and execute basic SQL queries to extract and manipulate data
- Contribute to documentation of data sources, reporting processes, and analytical methodologies
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand data needs and support project goals
- Adhere strictly to data security, privacy, and compliance standards, including HIPAA regulations
- Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Public Health, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field earned within the last 24 months
- Foundational understanding of data analysis concepts and a strong interest in the healthcare domain
- Academic, internship, or project experience with data manipulation and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards, terminologies (e.g., ICD‑10, CPT), and HIPAA compliance
- Exposure to statistical programming languages such as Python or R
- A portfolio or examples of academic projects demonstrating data analysis skills
