Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Agile Business Analyst to support KITS and our government customer. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. The position is remote.

Responsibilities and Duties- Develop processes to efficiently support Agile processes and ensure customer satisfaction
- Serve as Scrum Master, advocating for customer priorities and ensuring team is aligned and completing these priorities
- Lead meetings with the product owner
- Manage scheduling, set agendas, ensure follow-up actions are captured and the loop closed on all requests.
- Ensure all client requests, potentially from several sources of communication, are followed up on – for instance from Slack, Jira, conversations, etc.
- Maintain quality statistics to gauge team’s effectiveness across development, QA, and BA functions.
- Continually work to improve quality statistics via process improvements.
- Decompose verbal communication about requirements provided by several government product owners into Use Cases and Epics
- Create and maintain product roadmap, coordinating across several teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of priorities
- Create the sprint backlog using Jira based on knowledge of client priorities and upcoming staff vacation schedules affecting team capacity.
- Answer questions by developers about use cases during Sprint, ensuring requirements and acceptance criteria are kept as clear as possible
- Answer questions by testers about requirements and expected results during Sprint
- Meet with clients to ask about any questions which are beyond the team’s current scope of understanding and communicate back to the appropriate team members.
- Anticipate the client response based on experience from prior conversations, site consistency and design practices when appropriate.
- Field questions about report bugs from the client during product acceptance testing and provide analysis on why the unexpected behavior
- Write end-of-sprint documentation to include Sprint release notes and Sprint completion report.
- Ensure demo videos are created and delivered for all stories, creating videos as needed with support from team members
- Attend daily scrum meetings and support team members with any questions asked.
- Write and execute test cases for the use cases created in the sprint.
- Create Zephyr defect tickets for the developers that clearly details any problems reported
- Provide minor environment administration to include running build scripts to build code in a test environment.
- Reach out to the Lead Developer for any technical issues by describing actions taken and related symptoms.
- Backup the task lead by writing/presenting weekly status reports to the client
- Perform any high-level analysis as required by the Task Lead.
- Example:
Defect Summary reports, Work Breakout by Developer, etc. - As needed, be prepared to provide technical writing support by peer reviewing any communication to the client for items such as status reports or proposal responses.

- 8+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst preferred
- Proven experience of successfully deploying business analysis tools/techniques to enable business change
