AboutThe Role
Octave is seeking a highly skilled MDM Architect with deep expertise in Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) data to design, implement, and optimize enterprise master data solutions. This role will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, consistency, and governance across critical domains such as Customer, Vendor, and Partner data, leveraging D&B datasets for enrichment and compliance.
- Define and implement the enterprise MDM architecture, frameworks, and standards.
- Develop scalable solutions for managing master data across multiple systems and business units.
- Design and maintain integration processes between internal systems and D&B data services.
- Ensure accurate mapping, cleansing, and enrichment of organizational data using D&B identifiers (e.g., D-U-N-S® Numbers).
- Establish data governance policies and workflows for master data domains.
- Monitor and improve data quality metrics, leveraging D&B data for validation and compliance.
- Partner with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to align MDM initiatives with organizational goals.
- Provide thought leadership on best practices for leveraging D&B data in analytics and reporting.
- Work with leading MDM, CRM, and Data Management platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Informatica, SAP MDG, Snowflake, or similar).
- Implement APIs and ETL processes for D&B data integration.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years in data architecture, MDM, or data governance roles.
- Proven experience integrating and managing Dun & Bradstreet data within enterprise systems.
- Expertise in MDM platforms and data modeling.
- Strong knowledge of D&B data structures, identifiers, and enrichment processes.
- Proficiency in SQL, ETL tools, and API integrations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience in data stewardship and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with enterprise MDM solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
