Network Engineer- 100% Remote
- Advanced Routing/Network Automation (Python)
Optomi, in partnership with an industry leader, is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join their team. This engineer will have a strong routing background as well as some hands-on network automation and scripting experience. They will help to support large scale networks across an enterprise organization.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up and configuring routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
- Utilizing IP addressing and how this is set up across multiple networks
- Using route reflectors
- Utilizing Python for network automation and process automation
- Using virtualized network infrastructure across multiple platforms like Cisco OS and Juniper
Apply today if your background includes:
- Strong routing protocol knowledge and experience- configuring BGP, OSPF, etc.
- Experience using Python or another scripting language for network automation
- Strong IP addressing, route reflector, and network variable experience
- Significant network troubleshooting background across large scale networks
- Experience communicating cross-functionally with various teams and business units
- Ability to work a long-term contract on a remote basis
