REMOTE Security Compliance Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Security Compliance Engineer to work for a global company at the forefront of technology and innovation. You will act as SME & escalation point for operational support of security infrastructure tools, with a focus on ITAR-related environments. You will manage ITAR compliance and large-scale compliance programs like CMMC and NIST 800-171. You will support the Vulnerability Management effort by meeting with System Owners weekly, and conduct compliance investigations and align with business needs.

This role will collaborate with Information Security & Compliance teams to assess, recommend and develop security infrastructure initiatives. You will provide technical leadership and expertise in escalations, P1-P3 incident response tickets. You will also participate in Problem Management, post-mortems, root cause analysis and accelerate/advance the resolution of incidents impacting the Critical Production Environment & pro-longing escalations. This will be a fully remote position, aligning with MST or PST working hours.

• 7yrs+ of hands on information security experience

• Bachelor’s degree in related technology field

• Strong experience managing ITAR environments

• Experience with compliance standards, CMMC and NIST 800-171

• Experience working with internal stakeholders including non-technical business representatives + CMMC cert (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification)

• Project Management experience
