Overview
Remote / Orlando, Florida. This is a contract (Corp‑to‑Corp) engagement for a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Analyst.
ResponsibilitiesThe SQA Analyst is responsible for ensuring software quality in Information System projects across the entire life cycle, collaborating with the Project Leadership team to plan and execute QA activities.
- Test Planning:
Works with project teams to understand testing requirements, develop strategies, obtain approval, and provide estimates and task lists. - Test Analysis:
Reviews project requirements and design specifications to derive test requirements and define testing scope. - Test Design:
Designs test cases, procedures, and coverage within testing tools, deciding on automation levels. - Test Case Creation:
Creates manual or automated test cases and procedures from the design specifications. - Testing:
Conducts testing, verifies results, and tracks defects accurately. - Project Metrics:
Performs metric analysis, develops reports, and presents information to management. - Education & Mentoring:
Pursues continuous education and mentors associates on testing processes, tools, and applications.
- 4+ years of QA and testing experience throughout project life cycles.
- 4+ years of executing test scripts on multiple projects simultaneously.
- 2+ years with Automation tools such as Postman and Selenium.
- 2+ years creating automation scripts from manual steps.
- Experience overseeing and executing test scripts, including environment setup and verification.
- Experience performing metric analysis and reporting.
- Experience maintaining and updating test scripts and test cases.
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops Boards and Work Items.
- Experience in a Scrum/Agile environment using Azure Dev Ops.
- Strong SQL skills and knowledge of publishing software testing methodologies.
- Ability to understand application design models, programming languages, and testing concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; follows standards.
- High self‑motivation, commitment, and integrity; can handle ambiguity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Knowledge or experience in C#.NET coding.
- Knowledge or experience in testing Docker containers.
- Initial 6‑month contract (approx. 1,040 standard hours).
- Working hours:
8:00 am – 4:30 pm EST. - Corp‑to‑Corp engagement; contractor must use a corporate entity.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with unrestricted authorization to work in the United States and physically located in the United States for the full duration of the engagement.
