Position OverviewThe Tokio Marine HCC – Cyber & Professional Lines Group seeks a self‑motivated, detail‑oriented Operations Associate to join our growing Ops Department. This hybrid role includes three days in the Alpharetta office and two days working from home. The position processes business inquiries for underwriting review, enters client information into databases, maintains electronic filing records, processes bound applications, including the review and issuance of policies, and handles loss run requests.
PerformanceObjectives
- Identify and process new and renewal applications for underwriting review.
- Enter client and policy data into computer systems, applications and databases.
- Issue insurance policies and validate terms, limits, premiums and detail.
- Prioritize daily workflow and produce a finished product with extreme detail.
- Achieve quality and production minimums as set during onboarding.
- Review data for inconsistencies and retrieve missing information.
- Identify discrepancies and provide resolutions and solutions.
- Create and maintain correspondence and records in the electronic filing system.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external clients via mail, email, phone or electronic systems.
- Compose business correspondence on behalf of supervisors, managers and other professionals.
- Become an expert in the team’s function; continue learning and growing.
- Consistently complete tasks in a fast, high‑quality, detail‑oriented, service‑oriented manner.
- Spend close to 100 % of time on time‑sensitive, production‑based tasks.
- Recommend or participate in system enhancement and process improvement discussions.
Education
- High School diploma or GED.
Experience
- Minimum of two years of relevant and progressive office experience.
Other
- Excellent data entry skills.
- Ability to apply basic knowledge of principles, practices and procedures.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on confidentiality and diplomacy.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills; manages multiple tasks with excellent follow‑through.
- Team‑oriented mindset with attention to detail in wording, grammar, spelling, and numbers.
- Flexible handling of competing demands, efficient use of time and appropriate prioritization.
- Good judgment and problem‑solving abilities.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to meet quality and production measurements.
