Intern Web DeveloperThe Intern Web Developer will support the enhancement, modernization, and ongoing maintenance of AMA Consulting LLC’s existing website and digital platforms. This role is ideal for a motivated and creative individual seeking hands‑on experience in web development, website optimization, user experience, and digital content management.
Key responsibilities include:- Support updates, enhancements, and maintenance of AMA Consulting LLC’s website and digital platforms.
- Assist with front-end web development, responsive design, and user interface improvements.
- Help implement new website features, pages, forms, and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic website issues, bugs, and formatting inconsistencies.
- Update website content, graphics, images, and organizational information.
- Support SEO optimization, accessibility improvements, and website performance initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure website content aligns with branding and organizational messaging.
- Assist with organizing digital assets, website documentation, and integration of plugins or external tools.
- Participate in meetings and provide updates on assigned development tasks and activities.
- Test website functionality across browsers, devices, and platforms to ensure compatibility.
- Support digital transformation and website modernization initiatives.
- Research emerging web technologies, trends, and best practices to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development principles.
- Familiarity with website management platforms such as Word Press, SharePoint, Wix, Squarespace, or similar content management systems preferred.
- Strong interest in website development, digital design, and user experience improvement.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks within restricted time frames.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, proactive team player with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma preferred.
- Basic understanding of SEO and website analytics.
- Knowledge of accessibility and Section 508 compliance principles preferred.
- Experience supporting organizational or business websites through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
