We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Specialist to join our team at Jonesbororealtycompany. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading our company's technology systems and ensuring their smooth operation. Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems including servers, workstations, and network devices

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems

- Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity and security

- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements

- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure use of technology

- Train employees on new technology systems and provide technical support when needed

- Stay updated on new technology trends and make recommendations for their implementation

- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs

- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and products

- Maintain inventory of hardware and software and ensure all licenses are up to date

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of network and system administration

- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office products, as well as networking protocols and tools

- Familiarity with cloud computing and virtualization

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively

- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) is a plus
