Channel Systems Engineer

This role has been designated as ‘Remote/Teleworker’, which means you will primarily work from home.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Pre‑Sales Channel Engineer to support the growth of our HPE Networking practice, including Aruba and Juniper Networks solutions.

• Collaborate with channel partners and Partner Account Managers to drive technical excellence, strengthen partner capabilities, and accelerate adoption of HPE’s advanced networking portfolio.
• Develop and maintain deep technical knowledge across the HPE Networking portfolio; act as subject‑matter expert and trusted advisor.
• Enable channel partners through technical training, workshops, and hands‑on guidance to improve discovery, solution design, competitive positioning, and value proposition.
• Support partners in identifying and qualifying opportunities, developing solution architectures, and demonstrating business benefits of HPE networking technologies.
• Assist in delivering demonstrations, proof‑of‑concepts (POCs), and technical presentations.
• Provide technical assistance with SKUs, licensing, demonstration equipment, lab environments, and escalations to technical support (TAC).
• Collaborate with sales teams to ensure technical accuracy and successful deal execution.
• Participate in advanced training, certifications, and professional development programs; stay current on emerging networking trends.
• Teach partner and internal teams how to design scalable, reliable, cost‑effective solutions; develop Bills of Materials (BOMs), configurations, and reference architectures.

• 7+ years of experience in networking infrastructure, engineering, or technical consulting roles.
• Prior experience in pre‑sales, systems engineering, or technical account support preferred.
• Background in network design, deployment, services, or technical enablement strongly desired.
• Relevant vendor certifications (Aruba, Juniper or both).
• Strong understanding of network architecture and design principles.
• Hands‑on experience with wireless, switching, routing, firewalls, NAC, SD‑WAN, data center networking, and cloud‑management platforms.
• Ability to design and present end‑to‑end solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a partner‑driven sales environment.
• Experience supporting partners across all major B2B customer segments (commercial, SLED, Enterprise).
• Exposure to network automation, AI‑driven operations, and cloud‑native networking technologies.
• Preferred:
  Experience supporting partners focusing on commercial, SLED, and Enterprise customers.
