Salesforce Solution ArchitectResponsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions that align with the organization’s business objectives and technical strategy. Serves as the primary technical authority on all Salesforce platform initiatives, translating complex business requirements into well‑architected, maintainable solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and related Salesforce products. Requires deep Salesforce platform expertise and strong leadership skills to guide cross‑functional teams through successful implementations.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Design and architect end‑to‑end Salesforce solutions, including data models, security frameworks, integration architectures, and platform configurations that align with business strategy and scalability requirements (40%).
- Lead technical delivery of Salesforce projects from requirements gathering through deployment, collaborating with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet functional and technical specifications (25%).
- Evaluate, recommend, and govern Salesforce products, App Exchange solutions, and third‑party integrations; establish and enforce platform governance policies, coding standards, and best practices across the Salesforce ecosystem (20%).
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce developers and administrators; stay current with Salesforce releases, emerging features, and industry trends to drive continuous platform improvement (15%).
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Flow.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and enterprise integration architecture (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware).
- Experience with Salesforce Dev Ops practices including CI/CD, version control, and sandbox management.
- Knowledge of identity management (SSO, SAML, OAuth) as it relates to Salesforce.
- Salesforce certifications strongly preferred (e.g., Certified Application Architect, Certified System Architect, Certified Technical Architect, Platform Developer II).
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with management, technical peers, and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of hands‑on experience with the Salesforce platform, including configuration, customization, and development.
- 5+ years in a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or similar senior technical leadership role.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise‑scale Salesforce implementations.
- Deep experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
- Extensive experience leading cross‑functional technical teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Minimal travel expected, approximately 10% or less. Occasional domestic travel may be required for project kick‑offs, stakeholder meetings, or team events.
Salary range: approximately $180,000–$220,000 base annually, reflective of our good‑faith estimate and tailored to the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors considered during the interview process.
