Position: Global IT Project Manager || Philadelphia, PA/Remote

Overview

As part of the IT Delivery Transformation Team, the main purpose of this position will be delivering end-to-end projects for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Order Management Systems (OMS) and Integration for Contract Logistics in North America (United States, Canada and Mexico). The role will involve leading IT Projects by supporting the Business Project Lead and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Operations, Transportation, Engineering, Implementation, Finance, IT) to deliver high-quality solutions for Contract Logistics customers.

A very specific focus will be on Blue Yonder Discrete implementations for a very large customer. This position requires proven high-level skills in Project Management and a very strong understanding of logistics operations.

Key Accountabilities Project Management
  • Take a lead role in all IT Project Management activities (content, planning, budget), aligned with Logistics standard approach and best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment, ensuring IT team members are aligned with project goals and timelines.
  • Oversee deployment of Discrete solutions and automation, ensuring seamless implementation for a very large customer.
Communication
  • Act as the primary IT point of contact for project stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and external partners.
Stakeholders Management
  • Build strong connections with customers and internal business stakeholders to ensure project success within a pro-active relationship.
Change Management
  • Monitor post-implementation performance and address, during Hypercare, any issues or enhancements as needed.
Delivery & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure IT Teams deliver required IT solutions with a very high-level of quality and testing to avoid any business disruptions.
Key Working Relationships
  • Customers / Contract Logistics Operations:
    Daily interactions
  • All Project Management activities (planning, content management, budget follow-up)
  • Requirements gathering workshops
  • Feedback sessions on testing activities - System Integration testing (SIT) & User acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
  • Internal Technical Teams (OMS / WMS / Transportation / Integration):
    Daily interactions
  • Status meetings and progress reports.
  • Coordination of resources and timelines.
  • Solution Implementers:
    Daily interactions
  • Status meetings and progress reports.
  • Delivery Transformation Manager:
    Weekly interactions
  • Status meetings and progress reports.
  • Escalation process when needed.
  • Global Transformation Program team:
    Weekly interactions
  • Alignment on Project Management approach and standards
  • Share best practices with other Project Managers

Knowledge, Experience & Skills Education & Qualifications
  • Master (preferred) or Bachelor in Logistics and/or in Information Technology
  • Any certifications in Leadership or Change Management
Experience
  • Min. 5 years in IT project management, with a focus on WMS, OMS, and integration solutions
  • Strong logistics/supply chain knowledge
  • Proven experience with Blue Yonder Discrete implementation
  • Any technical experiences (development or configuration) on WMS solutions (preferably Manhattan).
  • Technical knowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and data integration technologies
