Girikon is looking at hiring a full-time “Data Bricks Engineer/ Technical Lead” with following job description:
Consultant will join our team only after the successful completion of Background check, Reference check, E-Verify process & Drug Test.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Lead the architecture, design, and successful delivery of a modern enterprise data warehouse leveraging Databricks and cloud-based technologies.
- Act as the primary onsite technical point of contact between client stakeholders and offshore development teams.
- Coordinate, mentor, and manage offshore engineering teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and timely project execution.
- Develop and implement scalable ETL/ELT solutions to integrate data across various systems and departments.
- Create and optimize large-scale data processing workflows using Spark, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake.
- Establish coding standards, review processes, development methodologies, and engineering best practices.
- Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, analysts, and project managers to gather requirements and shape technical roadmaps.
- Contribute to sprint planning, effort estimation, backlog management, and overall delivery governance.
- Maintain platform scalability, security, data integrity, and operational stability.
- Lead issue resolution, performance tuning, and ongoing production support initiatives.
- Support the development of long-term data governance frameworks and analytics strategies.
- 7+ years in Data Engineering/Data Warehousing.
- 3+ years of hands‑on Databricks experience.
- Strong expertise in Spark, PySpark, SQL, Python, Delta Lake, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience leading offshore/distributed teams and client-facing engagements.
- Azure cloud experience is required.
- Public sector experience preferred.
- Databricks/Azure certifications are a plus.
