Position Overview

Business Solutions Analyst III – Remote

Location:

Remote anywhere in the United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska).

• Work directly with stakeholders to define, document, and drive business requirements for technology and process changes.
• Own business requirements analysis and documentation, facilitating cross‑functional collaboration and managing requirements through the product lifecycle, including UAT testing support.
• Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs and applicable business systems and industry requirements.
• Apply business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Plan and monitor analysis activities, maintain standardized approaches, and align with project goals.
• Collect and document requirements using techniques such as customer journeys, process flows, use case models, and data models.
• Translate business requirements into functional design specifications and identify key data inputs and flows across multiple systems.
• Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, facilitating validation, prioritization, approval, and traceability.
• Manage the requirements change process, ensuring changes are communicated, documented, and assessed for impact.
• Facilitate requirement review sessions and obtain necessary approvals.
• Prepare and manage UAT plans, develop test cases, schedule tests, and support issue resolution.

• 4+ years of business systems analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of insurance business (Personal Lines, Commercial Auto, Claims, Operations). Guidewire Certified Analyst 2 is a plus.
• Proficiency with diagramming tools (UML, Visio, Lucidchart, draw.io, iGrafx, Miro, Guidewire, pricing tools).
• Experience with structured testing methodology, SDLC, and project management practices.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to run queries across platforms.
• Strong collaboration, oral, and written communication skills.
• Learning agility and ability to adapt to evolving technology needs.

• Experience supporting large transformations, enhancements, vendor system implementations, reporting, or conversion projects.
• Active participation in cultural or employee resource initiatives.
• Travel as needed for in‑person meetings.
