Firm Overview

H.I.G. Capital is a leading global private equity investment firm with $74billion of assets under management. The firm focuses on the mid‑cap segment and operates a diverse family of funds—including private equity, growth equity, real estate, direct lending, special‑situation credit, and growth‑stage healthcare. H.I.G. provides capital to businesses with attractive growth potential and partners with committed management teams and entrepreneurs to help grow businesses of significant value.

The firm’s 500‑plus investment professionals bring operating, consulting, technology, and financial management expertise to contribute meaningfully to portfolio companies.

Role Responsibilities
  • Own the end‑to‑end AI training lifecycle: curriculum strategy, partner‑led content development, vendor management, training calendar maintenance, compliance reporting, delivery, and ROI measurement.
  • Design and maintain a structured AI upskilling curriculum spanning foundational literacy, platform‑specific skills, and advanced use‑case development tailored to investment professionals, portfolio company operators, and functional leaders.
  • Drove the development of training materials—including slide decks, hands‑on exercises, quick‑reference guides, video walkthroughs, and assessments—in partnership with third‑party providers, supplementing with internally created content when needed.
  • Ensure all content is continuously refreshed to reflect AI platform evolution, new model releases, and best‑practice updates.
  • Build role‑specific learning paths linking AI capabilities to concrete business outcomes (e.g., deal‑team due diligence, operational efficiency, finance automation).
  • Serve as the primary liaison with external training partners, managing scope, timelines, deliverables, and quality, and negotiating contracts to meet defined KPIs.
  • Direct partners to customize content for H.I.G.’s AI platforms, governance policies, use cases, and organizational context, and approve all deliverables for accuracy and relevance.
  • Maintain firm‑wide and portfolio company training calendars, manage participant scheduling and communications, and coordinate platform access.
  • Deliver AI training sessions directly—particularly for firm‑specific platforms and governance requirements—and facilitate workshops, office hours, and hands‑on labs.
  • Manage training compliance reporting, track completion requirements, and ensure all mandatory programs are delivered on schedule.
  • Define and own training program KPIs, collect and analyze data on completion rates, participant satisfaction, knowledge retention, platform adoption, and usage growth, and report ROI to leadership.
  • Use adoption data and participant feedback to identify skill gaps, refine curriculum, and recommend future training investments.
  • Partner with H.I.G.’s GenAI Champions network and Strategy & Transformation Operating Partners to embed AI upskilling into broader digital‑transformation initiatives and sustain adoption momentum.
