Overview

AMC Networks is a leader in television and film content, offering a portfolio of streaming services, cable networks, and film distribution labels. The company also operates AMC Studios and an international programming business. We are seeking an AI Specialist to join our Technology Services team, based in our Bethpage, NY office.

AI Specialist – Technology Services

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an AI strategy for the Enterprise Systems team, aligning with business objectives and evolving governance standards.
  • Serve on the AI Governance/Review Board, contributing to evaluation and approval of new AI use cases and vendor solutions.
  • Evaluate and review proposed AI use cases from business units, guiding them into viable projects.
  • Conduct technical reviews and proofs‑of‑concept for new AI solutions, assessing feasibility, performance, and scalability.
  • Assess risks and establish mitigation plans, analyzing model biases, data privacy implications, security vulnerabilities, and compliance with data governance standards.
  • Leverage tools such as Microsoft Purview and Azure Agent 365 to ensure sensitive data is handled in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, and Data Privacy teams to implement Responsible AI practices, including human oversight mechanisms and auditing of AI decisions.
  • Design, prototype, and implement AI solutions and agentic workflows that automate and enhance enterprise business processes.
  • Leverage generative AI platforms and tools, including AWS Bedrock and Azure AI Foundry.
  • Integrate Microsoft 365 Copilot and other AI assistants into workflows to improve employee productivity and decision-making.
  • Build and maintain AI agents or autonomous workflows capable of carrying out tasks across systems with minimal human intervention.
  • Work closely with enterprise architects and IT engineering teams to deploy AI solutions into existing infrastructure and tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Service Now, data platforms), ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science roles, including developing and deploying ML models in an enterprise environment.
  • Expertise with generative AI platforms and cloud AI services, especially Amazon AWS Bedrock and Microsoft Azure AI (Foundry).
  • Experience using large language model technologies and related frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Copilot and integrating AI assistants or chatbots into business processes.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Purview or similar data governance/compliance tools, with the ability to enforce data protection and AI governance policies.
  • Strong programming and machine learning skills, and familiarity with tools for model deployment and monitoring.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a risk‑aware mindset, capable of assessing technical and ethical risks in AI systems and implementing controls.
  • Outstanding communication skills, able to translate complex AI concepts into business‑friendly language.
  • Experience working on cross‑functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to drive projects forward.
  • Proven ability to serve as a subject matter expert or advisor, providing guidance and training to team members and decision‑makers on AI best practices and responsible use of AI technologies.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Firefly, Runway, or other diffusion models for creating or editing images and video.
Compensation and Benefits

Candidates will receive a base compensation range of $110,000 – $120,000, commensurate with experience.
