We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Power BI and SQL Developer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming complex operational data from our manufacturing and aerospace environments into actionable insights, driving efficiency and informed decision‑making across the organization. You will be the link between raw data and strategic action, utilizing your expertise in SQL and Power BI to develop robust, scalable, and visually compelling BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Extraction & SQL Proficiency:
    Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to extract, manipulate, and aggregate large datasets from various sources, including ERP systems and SQL databases.
  • Power BI Development:
    Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards to visualize key manufacturing and operational metrics (e.g., labor utilization, performance, compliance).
  • Data Modeling & Architecture:
    Build and manage enterprise‑ready data models, including star schemas and snowflake schemas, optimized for performance and scalability using Power Query and DAX.
  • Industry‑Specific Insight:
    Apply knowledge of manufacturing and aerospace operations to understand specific data requirements, compliance needs, and key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the industry.
  • Collaboration & Requirements Gathering:
    Work closely with cross‑functional teams, stakeholders, and IT personnel to understand data needs and translate business requirements into technical specifications and analytics solutions.
  • Data Integrity & Troubleshooting:
    Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of all published data outputs, troubleshooting data integration, performance, and report accessibility issues as needed.
  • Documentation & Governance:
    Document data sources, logic, and model definitions to support maintainability, data governance, and best practices.
  • Support & Training:
    Provide training and support to end‑users on Power BI functionalities to foster self‑service BI capabilities within the organization.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience:

    Proven experience in a Power BI developer or data analyst role, with an emphasis on data manipulation and extraction.
  • Technical Expertise:
    Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (Desktop and Service), including DAX, Power Query (M), and data visualization principles.
