SALARY: The salary range for this position is $82,632.10 to $ for Schedule A, and $82,632.10 to $ for Schedule

B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Judiciary employees hired prior to August 29, 2015, are considered Schedule

The New Jersey Judiciary Appellate Division's Administrative Services Office, Technical Applications Unit, is seeking a supervisor to oversee the statewide coordination and handling of Information Technology support. Under the direction of the Court Executive 2A (Information Technology Manager), the candidate will formulate policies, procedures or practices for the Information Technology unit. This unit works collaboratively with the Appellate central research, case processing, and administrative services units.

The supervisor supports managers, other information technology offices and staff to plan and implement information technology projects and provide technical support. The selected candidate will support the webcasting of oral arguments, along with other areas of information technology support for the Appellate Division and will take on the responsibility of overseeing the daily unit tasks and establishing expectations. The supervisor will oversee the information technology coverage of live streamed oral arguments, technical support, and troubleshooting.

This position works with the Supreme Court, providing and coordinating technical support for oral arguments. The candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and upgrades of computer and computer related equipment for all Appellate Division staff, judges, judge s secretaries, law clerks, interns and official court reporters who are in multiple locations throughout the state. This includes iPads, laptops, PCs, printers, network and cell phone support.

They are also responsible for providing education and orientation to new Appellate Division judges and their staff.

Remote Work

The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.

Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position.
