Overview

Join Avēsis as an EiPaaS Developer in the Operations department. You will own and administer the EiPaaS/Bridgegate application, ensuring accurate and timely processing of 834 electronic enrollment files, provider files, and other HIPAA‑compliant EDI transactions. Your role focuses on business process continuity, data integrity, issue resolution, and workflow optimization, acting as the operational subject matter expert for all bridge gate integrations.

• Own the end‑to‑end processing of 834 electronic enrollment files and oversee all Bridgegate workflows.
• Develop and maintain templates for new 834 files as business needs evolve.
• Monitor workflows, design logging and alerting, and review system logs to identify and resolve errors or performance gaps.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve workflow, mapping, and data discrepancies; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Escalate platform‑level or infrastructure concerns to IT or vendors when necessary.
• Maintain detailed documentation for templates, workflows, and monitoring controls; update standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, IT, vendors, and partners, and communicate technical issues to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Participate in testing and validation of workflow enhancements before deployment.
• Implement proactive monitoring controls to minimize operational disruption and improve workflow efficiency.

• Manage and interpret ANSI ASC X12 EDI transaction sets (834, 837, 270/271).
• Maintain knowledge of secure file transfer protocols (FTP/SFTP) and ensure secure transmission, receipt validation, and acknowledgment processing.
• Design and implement comprehensive logging, alerting, and monitoring for all EiPaaS/Bridgegate workflows.
• Document and govern templates, transaction logic, and monitoring controls in compliance with internal controls and audit standards.

• Associate’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in operations, EDI processing, healthcare enrollment, or workflow management.
• 1–2 years of direct experience with 834 electronic files and EDI file structures.
• Experience with Bridgegate or a comparable integration platform.
• Proficiency in monitoring automated workflows and resolving production issues.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and data mapping skills.
• Basic data analysis tools (Excel) and strong written and verbal communication.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare IT, Business Analytics, or related discipline.
• 3–5+ years supporting EDI transactions, healthcare eligibility files, or system integrations.
• Advanced experience configuring Bridgegate templates and workflows.
• Experience onboarding new trading partners and implementing new 834 configurations.
• Knowledge of additional EDI transaction sets (820, 835, 837) and SQL or API integration.
