About the role
As a Service Now Practice Lead - Employee Experience, you will make an impact by shaping and driving Service Now solution strategies that enable organizations to transform employee experiences through automation and digital workflows. You will be a valued member of our Service Now Practice team and work closely with Sales, delivery teams, and clients to define, position, and implement high‑value Service Now solutions.
In this role, you will:
* Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Service Now Employee Experience solutions during the pre‑sales lifecycle, including opportunity qualification and solution positioning.
* Lead client discussions to define scope, requirements, and solution strategies aligned to business objectives.
* Deliver impactful Service Now product demonstrations, both standard and customized, for prospective and existing clients.
* Develop proposals, work estimates, and Statements of Work (SOWs) to support sales and delivery efforts.
* Partner with Sales and delivery teams to ensure seamless transition from pre‑sales to implementation.
* Provide thought leadership by creating content, participating in marketing events, and showcasing Cognizant's Service Now capabilities.
* Stay current on Service Now platform innovations and competitive landscape to effectively differentiate solutions.
* Lead successful delivery of Service Now implementations, ensuring quality, client satisfaction, and achievement of business outcomes.
* Drive continuous improvement of implementation methodologies, frameworks, and service offerings.

What you need to have to be considered
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* 4+ years of experience with the Service Now platform, including hands‑on experience in implementation or solution design.
* 2+ years of experience with Service Now Creator Workflows or Employee Experience solutions.
* Service Now System Administrator certification.
* Experience supporting pre‑sales activities, including demos, proposals, and client engagement.
* Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) and business process automation.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
These will help you stand out
* Service Now certifications such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Pre‑Sales certifications.
* Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Experience contributing to marketing initiatives, such as webinars, conferences, or thought leadership content.
* Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience shaping and expanding Service Now service offerings or practice capabilities.
Salary and Other Compensation:

* The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $82,000 - $155,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
